- LaVernaWordpress - LaVerne considers herself a helper to others. However, she has many unpublished writings since the age of thirteen. She wrote a brochure called “He Sent His Word” and co-authored a training marketing manual. Three years ago, she wrote a poem, a play, & a song called “The Attributes of the Man of God” that debuted in her church.

- Post-normal science - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia - Post-Normal Science is a concept developed by Silvio Funtowicz and Jerome Ravetz, attempting to characterise a methodology of inquiry that is appropriate for cases where "facts are uncertain, values in dispute, stakes high and decisions urgent". It is primarily seen in the context of the debate over global warming and other similar, long-term issues where we possess less information than we would like.

Wired don’t get Values?
20-May-09Here’s the problem with Wired: They think print matters.
via Welcome, Wired. We call this land “Internet” | Boing Boing Gadgets.
My guess is that the problem with Wired is aligning their money making values (print and web) with their human values (e.g. editorial lines or who is the most important journalist/blog/contributor/editor etc.).
It seems to me that no one at Wired/Conde Nast has called the shots on the above decisively..?

- KON-BOOT - ULTIMATE WINDOWS/LINUX HACKING UTILITY
- Kon-Boot is an prototype piece of software which allows to change contents of a linux kernel (and now Windows kernel also!!!) on the fly (while booting). In the current compilation state it allows to log into a linux system as #039;root#039; user without typing the correct password or to elevate privileges from current user to root. For Windows systems it allows to enter any password protected profile without any knowledge of the password.
